About Me

I turn ideas into things people actually stop and watch.

I'm Mohtashim — a creative technologist, filmmaker and student who moves between a camera, a design file, and a code editor depending on what a project needs.

Most of what I make starts with a simple question: what will actually make someone stop scrolling? This past summer that question took me to the KID Museum in Washington, DC, where I led Project Lighthouse, a youth education initiative, and earned a Frank Karel Fellowship for the work.

  • Starting with the story, not the software
  • Aligning on tone, goals & audience
  • Concept through frame-perfect execution
  • A final cut, ready to post

How I work

Story first, then craft. Every project starts with what will actually make someone stop scrolling.

Tools I use daily

The stack that turns an idea into something you can watch, click through, or scroll past.

  • Story over spectacle
  • Clarity over complexity
  • Shipped over perfect

What I stand for

Good work solves a problem first, and looks good doing it second.
